Could not go to yoga, because I woke up extremely dizzy. When I got up, the world undulated around me, so I stayed in bed for most of the morning, and even managed to go back to sleep for a while.
Went to an eye doctor appointment, where I had a bit of irritation with the way they check how your vision is with glasses these days (on a WHITE WHITE background of a computer screen!), which made me see much worse than what I actually saw (my record says I see 20/50 on my left eye with my glasses, but when the contacts lady checked, I was seeing AT LEAST 20/30 with fully dilated eyes (which means I couldn’t see as well as I usually could)). The eye doctor wanted me to get new glasses, but the contacts lady told me he was being ridiculous, and that I was seeing fine.
Someone needs to do something about that white computer screen with black tiny text, because the black was literally dancing and moving. Very bad for people even without seizure disorder. I was so dizzy trying to read the letters.
(Dear nurse: When I say the letters are moving, I KNOW they aren’t. And when I say the background is flashing, I KNOW they aren’t. I JUST WANT YOU TO TURN DOWN THE BRIGHTNESS SO I DON’T HAVE TO “SEE” THEM AS FLASHING.)
And then I came back to more dizziness because of the dilating of eyes.
And after dinner, nosebleed.
Thank you, Keppra. You make my life complete.
And my stomach is pretty messed up right now, too. Yay.
